CHUCK DESANTIS & ARTISTIC DIRECTOR | Dan is so ecstatic to bring this piece to MD. And start Waterlilly Theatricals off. Pandemics have derailed us. But its time. Dan grew up in Abingdon, Maryland performing in about 50 community theatre productions before moving to New York to pursue theatre professionally. His work has brought him to the seas of Norway and more with Disney Cruise Line Rapunzel’s Royal Table, The Lexington Theatre Co Production of Memphis (Mr. Simmons), and he will be revisiting Young Frankenstein (The Monster) with The Forestburgh Playhouse this summer. He recently wrapped production on The Requiter directed by Joseph Osei-Bonsu.Thank you to Starlight Theatricals for hosting us.

DIRECTOR | Josh is thrilled to be directing WaterLilly Theatricals’ inaugural production. Josh recently directed Mr. Daniels for the Chain Theatre Festival and performed his one-man A Christmas Carol. Josh is the founding artistic director of The Empirically Theatre Group, which currently operates in Richmond, Virginia. Productions Josh has directed there include Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Jeffrey, and Of Mice and Men (starring Dan Hasty). Josh is also an actor who will play his 12th season at Rocky Mountain Repertory Theatre this summer, bringing back his Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls. He will also appear in Footloose and Frozen. STAGE MANAGER | Chuck is a faculty member at Bel Air High School where he has taught both English and Drama for the past 20 years. A graduate of West Virginia University with a BFA in Theatre and the College of Notre Dame of Maryland with a Masters in Education, Chuck worked with the theatre program at Bel Air for over 25 years serving as the Artistic Director, Technical Director and Scenic Designer as well as performing in the pit band for the musicals since 1994. He is the co-founder of the North East Theatre Festival, and has served as the Co-Executive Director for the past 12 years. Chuck is currently the Chair of the Harford County Cultural Arts Board, a Board member of the Scottfield Theatre Company and continues to work as a Technical Director and Designer for several community theatres around the region.
